Donna has been entertaining
professionally since the age of 11 years old. Starting in Country
Music at 9, Donna's first instrument was playing drums for Tauranga
Country Music Club in New Zealand. Donna's interest in playing
saxophone and harmonica convinced her parents to start a family
band 'Moderation'. With her two sisters playing keyboards and bass,
brother on drums, and mum on guitar. This concept of an almost
all female band ventured for 12 years. A total of 6 weekends off
in 10 years, playing live as a band and as a family, was a challenging
learning experience. Donna now aspires as a soloist and songwriter,
currently working on her RnB record label project
scheduled for 2009.
